Sexual Trauma, Masculinity and Health Outcomes among Men
This project aims to understand how sexual trauma impacts men's recovery by examining how it shapes physical health (e.g., chronic health conditions and exercise) and beliefs about masculinity.

Trauma and Eating Behaviors: Diet Quality and Mental Health Among Survivors
This study explores how trauma exposure relates to eating habits, including overall diet quality and the likelihood of following plant-based or other dietary patterns, with attention to behaviors like overconsumption of processed foods.

Trauma and IPV: Correlates of IPV victimization and perpetration among Men with Histories of Sexual Trauma
This study investigates how men with experiences of sexual trauma report both victimization and perpetration of intimate partner violence (IPV), and explores how trauma-related and psychosocial factors may be linked to these outcomes.
Future Projects and Research Directions
The RECLAIM Lab will build on our recent projects to examine how masculinity impacts men's mental and physical health care utilization, and help seeking behaviors (e.g., utilizing social support networks).
